The Art Critique

This morning in a professional training on literacy in the arts, we began talking about how stunts critique works of art. Many of the teachers used literacy strategies, such as silent discussions, in how their students conducted critiques. When I use critiques I what my students to learn 4 essential skills; how to describe, analyze, interpret, and judge artwork.
